What Google Business Profiles accounts are supported in Publer?

You can add Google Business Profiles, formerly known as Google My Business.
In order for a Google Business Profile to be eligible, it has to be part of a business or brand chain with less than 10 locations, be a verified Google Business Profile location, and be owned or administered by you.

Google has certain limitations on the types of Locations that can post on its platform, including:

Locations and businesses in a restricted category like tourism, including hotels, are not allowed to post.
Using language that goes against Google's Community Guidelines
Permissions may have been changed or revoked, thus not allowing the user to post.

What posts can we share on Google Business Profiles through Publer?

Limitations:

Photos need to have a size between 10 KB and 5 MB and a minimum resolution of 250 x 250 pixels.

What are the main Google Business Profiles features in Publer?

Another important, but an independent section is Google Business Profile Photos. In addition to scheduling Updates, Events, and Offers with Publer, you can also schedule Photos to be uploaded to your Google Business Profile.

There are a few unique additions such as Coupons Code, Link to redeem offer, and Terms and Conditions.

Is it possible to 'recycle' posts on Google Business Profiles?

In order to comply with Google's automation policies, you cannot post duplicate posts. However, you can still recycle posts if you create at least 10 different variations for the text using Spintax in Publer.

Can I upload videos on Google Business Profiles?

No. Due to the API limitations, only photos can be uploaded.

Why is my Google Business Profile post not published?

It might be because your business is in a restricted category that is not eligible for posting, you are using language that goes against Google's Community Guidelines, or your permissions may have been changed or revoked, thus not allowing you to post. Read more about that here.
