How to find my failed posts

Posts

The Posts tab in Publer or the Calendar tab is where you will be able to find all of your posts, from scheduled to posted to failed etc.

The Failed posts tab will include any posts that have not been posted, due to any common issues such as reauthorization, the post not being approved in time, a temporary downtime or API restrictions from the social networks, etc.

Failed Posts

To find the failed posts , you simply need to filter posts by Failed , in the Posts tab or Calendar tab :

Go to the Posts tab and choose the Feed view.

Next, in the dropdown menu for posts, filter by Failed to view all the failed posts.

Failed Posts

To understand why this post failed:

Simply hover the mouse over the red exclamation mark at the bottom left corner of the post.

Failed Posts Error

The message will tell you why the post failed, for example, it was not approved on time by the other members.

In this case, you can reuse the post , and send it for approval again, so it goes back to the scheduling queue. Feel free to use the internal notes to tag other members and notify them about the post.

Workaround

Once you understand why your post failed, simply take the necessary steps to resolve the mentioned issue and then reschedule it again.

For example, you need to ask the other member to approve this post in time. In other cases, you would need to reauthorize the social account first and then reschedule the post, and so on.

After you have resolved the issue, you simply need to select the post and Reuse it:

Select the post from the left side, by clicking on the circle icon at the left of the post.
Then, click on Reuse .
You will be redirected to the Create page where you can make changes to the post.
Finally, schedule the post again so it goes back to the queue.
