How to add VAT, GST, or tax number

What is VAT?

VAT (Value-Added Tax) or GST (Goods and Services Tax) is a consumption tax added to the cost of goods and services at each stage of production, ultimately paid by the end consumer, helping governments generate revenue.

The the tax rate will vary from country to country. If you are paying through Paddle, you can find the sales tax for your country here.

In Publer, you will be able to add a VAT or tax number when starting a new subscription with both Paddle or PayPro, if your country is VAT-eligible.

Note: When paying through Paddle, you can add the VAT number at a later time if you have already started your subscription, while for PayPro, you would need to restart the subscription to add the VAT number.
