Why is my video not accepted even though it fits the requirements?
It is important to note that social networks have very specific requirements for videos and post types. For example, regular videos on Instagram cannot be over 60 seconds long.
Sometimes videos might be a little over 60 seconds, i.e. 60.03 seconds long. If that is the case, your video won't be accepted as it is not within the social network's requirements.
You can check the length of the videos with online tools like Clideo or with QuickTime view if you are using a Mac.
Note: You can check all the post limitations and requirements here, for all the social networks.
Go to the video on your computer, right click, and open with QuickTime view.
Then, under the Edit tab, select Trim.
If you click at the end of the video, you will be able to see the specific length, such as 60.03 seconds.
Since this video exceeds 60 seconds, then you would have to trim it a little so it can be posted as a regular video for Instagram.
You can trim it directly using QuickTime view.
You can also use any online tool to check the length of the video.
For example, go to Clideo at https://clideo.com/cut-video and upload your video.
As soon as you upload the video, you will be able to see the full length of the video.
If it exceeds the limitations, then make sure to trim the video using Clideo or other tools.
When your video exceeds the post limitations, you can also edit it directly in Publer, using the VistaCreate integration..
Go to the Create tab on Click on Click or Drag and Drop media to bring up the [media upload options](/en/article/how-to-upload-a-photo-and-other-media-1ijl3cu/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" role="link" class="csh-markdown csh-markdown-link csh-markdown-link-text">Publer.
Then, select VistaCreate so you start editing your video.
Make sure to upload your video and proceed with editing it in VistaCreate.
When you are done, simply publish the edited video to Publer and proceed with scheduling it to your social networks.
