Why do I get "This email address is taken" error?

If you are updating your email address and the one you enter is already being used, an error message saying "Email is already taken" will pop up. You will then be required to select a different email address or delete the account associated with the email you want to use.



Here's what you can do:



Use a different email address that is not presently registered with Publer.
Alternatively, you may consider deleting the account linked to the email that you wish to use.
In order to delete your account, simply navigate to 'Settings', scroll downwards until you reach the 'Delete Account' option. Proceed by clicking on the 'Delete Account' button.



Once you've either deleted your account or set up a new email address, try to change the email address again. You should no longer encounter the previous error.
