Does Publer lower the quality of the media?

Why does the quality of my media drop on Twitter or LinkedIn?

If you've noticed a drop in the quality of your videos when publishing them to Twitter or LinkedIn, it's important to understand that this is not an issue caused by Publer. The social platforms compress or modify the video after it's uploaded.

Why is the Video Quality Dropping?

When videos are uploaded directly to Twitter or LinkedIn, those platforms may automatically compress or modify the video to fit their own specifications. This can result in a noticeable difference in quality compared to the original file.

Unfortunately, this happens even when uploading directly to those platforms, and it is due to their internal processing and limitations. Once the media is uploaded, they may adjust the format, size, or other specifications to better fit their systems.

Publer does not alter your media files in any way. We upload and send the original media file to the social network API. Any changes you notice in quality are made by the social media platform after the upload.
