How to create draft posts
Desktop Version:
What are draft posts?
Draft posts are unfinished posts connected to a social account, and they can be either dated or undated.
Draft posts with a set date and time will show up in the Calendar tab. On the other hand, undated drafts will be stored in the Drafts section, where you can review, edit, and schedule them at your convenience.
To create a draft post:
Go to the Create page.
The composer box will appear after clicking the Create button, and you can start creating your draft.
After completing your draft, simply click the Draft button.
Next, specify the settings for this draft. You can choose from the time slots available (if there are any) or Manually select the time.
Once you've specified the time, click on Save.
You can also choose to toggle off Set a date and time, and simply click on Save right away.
You can find draft posts under the Posts tab > Drafts. Additionally, any draft posts with a scheduled date and time will be visible in the Calendar view as well.
Note: Only draft posts with a specific date and time will be displayed in the Calendar view.
Lastly, if you accidentally close the window while scheduling a post, don't worry! Just click on the create page again, and the composer box will pop up with your unfinished post still intact.
To use a draft post:
Go to the Posts tab and choose the Feed view.
Filter posts by Drafts.
You can filter by Dated and Undated once you select the Drafts option.
Note: Only drafts with any selected social accounts will appear in the Draft Posts section.
Select all the draft posts you want to use, then click Reuse at the bottom right.
Note: The option to "Delete or Don't delete" is only available for draft ideas, NOT for draft posts when reusing them.
The composer box will appear after clicking the Reuse option.
Make the final touches and schedule accordingly.
Alternatively, to view draft posts in the Calendar view, you can apply the filter and choose from the available options: Monthly, Weekly, or Daily view.
Then, filter your posts by selecting Drafts.
Note: Only draft posts with a specific date and time will be displayed in the Calendar view.
Locate the post you want to use, then schedule it or publish as needed.
Keep in mind:
Labels can be assigned to a draft post to easily locate drafts.
Drafts will also show up on the Calendar View and Instagram Feed Preview if they have a specified date and time. You can use these as "notes" which can contain drafted marketing outlines, reminders about special days, or simple notes.
You can Auto-Draft posts within the Feed Preview as shown here.
Only drafts without any selected social accounts will appear in the Draft Ideas section on the homepage.
The option to "Delete or Don't delete" is only available for draft ideas, not for draft posts when reusing them.
