How to set a default location for Facebook and Instagram accounts
Location tagging is only available for specific types of posts on Facebook Pages and Instagram Business accounts
If you always add the same location to your posts, you can set it as a default location in social account settings and the location will be automatically selected when creating new posts.
Navigate to the social accounts tab and click on a Facebook Page or Instagram Business Account
Type the desired location you want to add and make sure to select it
The location will be automatically selected when creating new posts for this account
Cannot find the desired location? Please follow these steps
Location tagging is available for Facebook Pages and Instagram Business accounts. The other social accounts don't support geo-location tagging due to API limitations.
The default location will be automatically added to new posts created, including those from RSS Feeds and auto-shares
You cannot add a locations for Facebook regular videos, GIFs, stories, or reels scheduled via reminders
