How to tag/mention accounts on Instagram photos
Tagging Instagram accounts on photos or reels is a great way to engage with your audience or brands/businesses that you are working with!
Go to the Create page on Publer and select the desired Instagram account on the left.
Click on Click or Drag & Drop media and upload a photo.
Hover over the Instagram image and click on the tag icon in the bottom-right corner.
Tap anywhere on the image to start tagging, and simply type in Instagram usernames in the box field.
Usernames are not case-sensitive, so you can write them in capital letters or lowercase. However, you have to make sure that the Instagram username is 100% correct. Due to API limitations, we can only suggest Instagram accounts that you use or have used in Publer.
A tag can always be removed by clicking on the x button.
Once you have added all the tags, you can click on the Save Tags button and proceed with publishing the post.
First, upload your Instagram Reel on Publer.
Then, click on Tag people or products under "More options", once the Instagram Reel is ready.
Select Tag people and type the usernames of the Instagram accounts you wish to tag.
Due to Instagram limitations, Publer can't autocomplete or spellcheck usernames for Personal accounts, only Professional ones. Please double-check the spelling of the username of the Personal accounts before saving. Private Instagram accounts can't be tagged.
