How to switch my Instagram account to a Creator/Business account
In order to connect Instagram accounts to third party apps like Publer, you have to make sure that they are a Professional account, so either a Creator or Business account, that is linked to a Facebook page that you administer.
Go to your Instagram profile, in your Instagram web on any browser.
Tap on Profile in the left-side of the screen and select the Settings icon.
Go to Settings and Privacy.
Scroll down and click on Account type and tools.
There, click on Switch to professional account.
Choose Business or Creator and then tap Next to continue.
Only Professional accounts, so Business and Creator accounts, are supported currently by the Instagram API, not Personal ones. Thus, it is not possible to use Personal accounts with 3rd party apps like Publer.
Specify your category.
After adding your information accordingly, tap Done.
Once you switch to a Business/Creator account, you will have to connect it to your business Facebook Page, from your PC by going here or from your Mobile Phone as shown below.
Go to your Instagram profile on your mobile app and tap on Edit Profile.
Under Public information or Public business information, select Page.
Choose which Page you would like to connect to, or Create a New Facebook Page.
Keep in mind that you need to be an admin of that Page before you connect to it. Check the settings of the Page to make sure you have all the necessary permissions.
Go to your Facebook Page on Facebook.
On the left hand side, under Manage Page, click on Settings.
On Page Settings click on Linked Accounts.
Choose Instagram from the options on the left and then click on the Connect account button.

Note: Now that you have a Business/Creator Instagram account, that is linked to a Facebook Page, you can connect it with Publer by following the steps shown here. If you are not able to see the Instagram account after following the steps as outlined above, please take a look at the article here to try and add the account.

Method 1:
