(Mobile App) How to set a default location for Facebook and Instagram accounts

Location tagging is only available for specific types of posts on Facebook Pages and Instagram Business accounts

If you always add the same location to your posts, you can set it as a default location in social account settings and the location will be automatically selected when creating new posts.

To set a default location:



Log into the app to access your account and tap on the workspace icon located in the top-left corner.



Click the three dots on the right side of your social account to access the settings.



Next, select the "Default Location" option.



Then, enter the default location you need and click Save.



After you set the default location in your social account's settings, it will be automatically selected when creating new posts for this account

Cannot find the desired location? Please follow these steps.

Keep in mind:



Location tagging is available for Facebook Pages and Instagram Business accounts. The other social accounts don't support geo-location tagging due to API limitations.
The default location will be automatically added to new posts created, including those from RSS Feeds and auto-shares \
You cannot add a locations for Facebook regular videos, GIFs, stories, or reels scheduled via reminders
