How will RSS items be shared to each social network
RSS items have titles, descriptions, and URLs attached - therefore their display will be different.
Remember: In order to have the title and/or link description added as part of the content, you should specify so on the RSS Feed Settings.
Note: To add line breaks to posts from RSS Feeds, the descriptions of the entries in the RSS Feed must include: \n
In the description tag, you can use "\n" (without quotes). For example: Testing\na\nnew\nline
Go to Explore tab on Publer.
Choose RSS Feeds
Select the specific RSS Feed and click on the 3 dots icon that shows up on the right-side.
Choose Settings.
Then, specify whether you want the posts to be shared as a link or as a photo, for the specific social networks.
The RSS item will be attached as a link.
The link's thumbnail will be used as the image of the post.
The URL will be automatically added at the Link in Bio field, if you have set up your Link in Bio Page.
The link's thumbnail will be used as the Pin image.
The URL will be automatically added to the Pin URL area.
The link's thumbnail will be used as the image of the post.
The URL will be automatically added as a CTA button named Read More.
Note: Some RSS Feeds might not always show the correct thumbnail for their articles on Publer. In this case, you have to make sure that your site has the correct Meta Tags set up for the Description, Link, Title, Image, etc. Learn more about how you can tackle this problem here.
