How to create and schedule Bluesky threads
Desktop Version
To create and schedule Bluesky Threads with Publer:
Go to Create page and select Bluesky on the left.
Start composing a new post.
You can specify the language of the Bluesky post (optional).
Tap on the follow-up comment icon.
Toggle on the button Make a thread.
To delay the first post of the thread, enable Add a delay, and specify it.
To continue adding posts to the thread, click the small + icon below the comment: Add another reply.
If you enable Add a delay then you can decide when the second post of the thread will be posted, based on the previous post.
To add media, simply click on Click to upload media and choose the media you want to add.
Once you have finished creating the follow-up comments and your thread is ready, simply click on Save and proceed with scheduling the post accordingly.
You can also preview what the Bluesky thread will look like when it's posted.
Keep in mind:
You can add up to 25 posts in a Bluesky thread.
You can specify the language of the Bluesky post (optional).
Each follow-up comment/reply is customizable with text formatting tools, emojis, hashtag suggestions, and media files.
Each follow-up reply will have a 300 character limit. Publer will notify you by highlighting the text that's surpassed the limit.
Each follow-up reply will get shared after the previous one. For example, you can't schedule the third reply of a thread to be posted before the second one.
Mobile App
To create and schedule Bluesky Threads in the mobile app:
Click the + sign to create a post and select Bluesky.
Start composing a new post.
Click on the Follow-Up Comments icon to start creating your thread.
Click on the option + Add follow up comment.
Decide whether you want to delay the first follow-up thread, by enabling Add a delay and choose how long you want to delay it for.
Add the caption for the first reply of the thread and an image if needed. When you are done, click on Save.
Preview your comments in real time. To continue your thread, click the the option + Add follow up comment again.
If you enable Add a delay then you can decide when the second reply/post of the thread will be posted, based on the previous post.
Add the desired text and media to the second reply of the thread. When you are done with the post, click on Save.
Once you have finished creating the follow-up comments and your thread is ready, simply click on Save and proceed with scheduling the post accordingly.
