How to create and save a News Query
Desktop Version
To create a News Query:
Go to the Explore tab.
On the News tab, select Advanced Search.
Click on the dropdown at the right-side and press Add New Query.
A form will show up on the right-side, where you can search in detail about specific articles.
Narrow down your search by choosing for:
Keywords
Surround phrases with quotes (") for exact match.
Prepend words or phrases that must appear with a + symbol. Eg: +socialmedia
Prepend words that must not appear with a - symbol. Eg: -facebook
Alternatively you can use the AND / OR / NOT keywords, and optionally group these with parenthesis. Eg: "social media" AND (Facebook OR Twitter) NOT Snapchat.
Dates of the articles.
The Language of the articles.
Sort by relevance, popularity, and date.
Include or Exclude specific domains.
Once you have narrowed down your search, you can choose to Save query for the future.
Give the Query a name and click on Save.
Then, click on Search. The relevant results will appear like so:
Start sharing any articles you like or scheduling them for the future. Learn more about the Explore tab here.
Mobile App
To create a News Query in the mobile app:
Go to the Explore tab.
On the News tab, select Advanced Search.
Click on the plus icon at the right-side.
A form will open, where you can Create a New Query* and search in detail about specific articles.
Narrow down your search by choosing for:
Keywords
Surround phrases with quotes (") for exact match.
Prepend words or phrases that must appear with a + symbol. Eg: +socialmedia
Prepend words that must not appear with a - symbol. Eg: -facebook
Alternatively you can use the AND / OR / NOT keywords, and optionally group these with parenthesis. Eg: "social media" AND (Facebook OR Twitter) NOT Snapchat.
